Our Story

Crum Cattle Company located in Wooster, Ohio specializes in Simmi-Genetics. Its goal is to raise highly functional breeding stock for both Purebred Breeders as well as providing Purebred & SimAngus cross bulls with excellent EPD’s for Commercial Herds.                                                                                                                                                

The base herd is located in Wooster, Ohio and then the majority of the cows and calves are relocated during the    summer and fall months to Crum's Circle C Ranch in Woodsfield, Ohio to graze on excellent forage. John and Bob   market their Simmental and SimAngus females in several Spring & Fall sales. A select group of weaning bulls are marketed in the fall, while Yearling Bulls are marketed in the spring in March & April time period.

The Crum’s breeding programs dates back to 1970 when their father, Paul Crum, began raising Simmental seedstock.  Many breeders in Ohio and Pennsylvania have used their females and bulls over the last 50 years.
